Trust is the one thing that changes everything. Whatever you do, if you are not trusted, becomes tainted. The most Distinguished Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita has successfully built trust in the minds of the Katsina State people and embellished it with stunning decorations of exceptional performance never witnessed from any people's representative since the inception of the State in 1987.
Talk about education, healthcare, employment generation, electricity supply, portable drinking water, humanitarian gestures, skills acquisition programmes for artisans, name it. This people's person performed remarkably well to the satisfaction of even those who dislike him for whatever reason. Yes, they will tell you that if it is positive performance, give it to Senator ABK.
Now the question: If a representative of the people is adjudged to be carrying out his responsibilities of law making and facilitating laudable projects to the benefit of the generality of the people, is it not wise and better to keep aside all manner of prejudice and rally round such a person so as to consolidate on what has been achieved so far?
Senator ABK is fondly called all sort of names. Some call him the El-Rufa'i of Katsina North, others address him as the Professor Zulum of Katsina, yet others refer to him as the Buhari of modern day Katsina due to his honesty, commitment and sense of direction. Is it not going to be in the collective interest of all Katsina State people to have him as the one in charge of the affairs of the whole state come 2023?
Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita is worth our support, prayers, encouragement, and ultimately our VOTES when the time comes. He is a bridge builder to the core.
