Distinguished Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita Representing Katsina North Senatorial District has assured the people of his constituency to step into the new year, resting on the assurance of his commitment to a more robust, quality representation. The assurance is part of the Distinguished senator's message felicitating with the entire people of Katsina State and Nigerians in general for making it into the new year, 2020.
In the statement, Senator Kaita observes that, 2020 is a special year in two folds; first, it is a beginning of another decade in the nation's democratic journey and more importantly a turning point in the implementation of a January to December National Budget, which he described as a feat that was only made possible through the effective collaboration between the Executive and the Ninth Assembly.
Senator Kaita, while thanking Almighty Allah for preserving his life and that of millions of his constituents, supporters and well wishers, noted that, the new year offers everyone the rare privilege to correct past mistakes and contribute significantly to nation building.
The Distinguished Senator assured the good people of his constituency of a more effective representation in 2020 which according to him would be anchored on "more Job opportunities for the teeming youths, women empowerment programs and more importantly, the facilitation of more intervention projects through the constituency engagement".
Senator Kaita commended President Muhammadu Buhari for keeping to his promise in the implementation of the new minimum wage and payment of the over seven months arreas to federal workers. He said "I am optimistic that, the Next level holds a more promising and better future, not only for the people of Katsina State, but the entire citizens of the country in general.
