Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND held it's Inaugural meeting today Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by Distinguished Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita Katsina North whos is the Chairman of the Committee.
In attendance were Members of the Committee, comprises of Distinguished Senator Sunday Onor- Cross River Central, who is the vice chair of the Committee, Senator Abdullahi Adamu-Nasarawa West, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam- Yobe East, Senator Lawal Gumau.
Also in attendance, were Sam Egwu- Ebonyi North, Danladi Sankara- Jigawa North among others.
In his short message, Distinguished Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita humbly but firmly tasked the Committee members to come up with wholistic plan that will address the myriad of challenges bedevilling the education sector in the country for ages.
He also, seek for collaborative efforts from the committee Members towards making an impressive impact on the education sector through the introduction of various reforms.
